Leap into action with a clear head!
Romantics are being urged to ditch the champagne and hit the tap water on February 29th - to help them to stay focussed on any important proposals.
The extra leap year day is traditionally when sweethearts propose marriage to their loved ones – but if you’re planning to pop the question this year local water supply company Three Valleys Water have some tips to help you stay focused on love.
Stay hydrated and in control by drinking water instead of alcohol. Healthy brains and bodies need six to eight (1.5 – 2 litres) glasses of water a day or they run the risk of becoming dehydrated, which can lead to concentration lapses (water uk).
“Water won’t make you more romantic but drinking plenty of water will improve your concentration and help you focus on your love life and any important questions,” said Becky Martin of Three Valleys Water.
“If you get the answer you are hoping for then maybe celebrate with something stronger. Don’t forget that water is good for your heart, especially hard water which is supplied by Three Valleys Water,” she added.
And at less than 1p for 10 litres, tap water offers great value for money, so fill your glasses and raise a toast to love!
