Staff raise funds for Living Room charity

Staff at Three Valleys Water have raised £477 for ‘The Living Room’ charity based in Stevenage, during their regular ‘Time to Give Friday’.

‘Time to Give Friday’ is a monthly initiative where a member of staff nominates a charity to dress down for and charge £1 for the privilege. David Archer, Customer Policy Adviser chose ‘The Living Room’ which provides support and treatment for anyone experiencing difficulties associated with any form of addiction.

David handed over the cheque to a delighted Janis Feely, Director and her team of counsellors at their Stevenage Headquarters last week.

David said “The response from everyone in the company was great, some of the people that donated money have friends that have been helped by ‘The Living Room’ .”

Janis added; “We are grateful to everyone at Three Valleys Water. As well as helping individuals that are affected by addictions such as alcohol, drugs, eating disorders and gambling we are able to provide much needed support for their families, which includes a crèche facility.”
