Calling young artists and thinkers!

There are great prizes up for grabs in the Three Valleys Water ‘Cities Around the World’ children’s sustainability competition this year.

Three Valleys Water is asking schools in the region to encourage pupils to write about their City, and put forward their ideas and illustrations to show how they think it can exist in harmony with nature while still looking after it’s citizens.

Taking part in the competition gives a great opportunity to achieve this through observation, literacy and creativity with a chance of winning a prize too! The competition is open to years 3, 4, 5 and 6 with both individual or class entries being accepted.

  • The winning school will win a FREE in school Water Day carried out by Three Valleys Water’s award winning Education Team worth £450.
  • The winning entry will then be put forward to a UK Water final where they could win an all expenses paid class trip to a London Museum during May 2008.
  • The UK Water finalist will then be entered in the overall UK Environment competition with a chance to win a trip to Paris for 2 children plus their teacher and a parent for a special Awards Ceremony from 12 – 15 June, 2008 involving all the winning children of each participating country.
