Three Valleys Water meets local ladies club

Water was the topic of the evening for The Ladies Leisure Club in Hayes End, Middlesex when the club received a visit from Loretta Carr from local water company Three Valleys Water.

Loretta is a part of a team of volunteers from the company that visit organisations in the community to talk about water related issues and the journey that water takes from source to tap.

The ladies also learned some useful water saving tips for the home such as turning off the tap when brushing teeth, fitting a ‘hippo’ water saving device into the toilet cistern and the benefits of having a meter installed.

Pat O’Reilly from the Ladies club said “I found the presentation very interesting and it answered a lot of my questions on the subject.”

If your organisation would like a talk by Three Valleys Water contact the PR team on 01707 277110 or email. Talks are free of charge but we welcome any donations to WaterAid, which is the water industry’s flagship charity.
