St Albans MP dips into school visit!

St Albans MP, Anne Main met year 11 pupils from Nicholas Breakspear School who were hunting for mini beasts as part of a pond dipping experience at Three Valleys Water Education and Environment Centre in Bushey.

Anne Main said; ‘The future of our environment is in the hands of our young citizens and this Centre run by the Three Valleys Water Education team helps youngsters appreciate how important water is to sustain life. It is clear that a day at Clay Lane provides a valuable hands-on experience.”

The students visited the Centre to learn about the journey of water from its source to the customer’s tap and examine the water cycle. “It is part of our efforts to promote water efficiency in its widest sense, and I am pleased the MP took time out of her busy schedule to talk to the pupils about what they had learnt during their day at our education centre,” said Ted Casey, Education Services Manager at Three Valleys Water.
