Staff dress down for local Hospice
Staff at Three Valleys Water dressed down for a day and have raised more than £400 for the Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted. The Hospice provides palliative care to people with life limiting illnesses in North West Hertfordshire and the Chiltern area of Buckinghamshire.
Verity Patch, HR Administrator who organised the fundraising said; ”Staff pay £1 to dress casually and the company doubles the amount raised. I am pleased to have been able to spend time with the Hospice team at the new building and see first-hand how any funds raised are invested. “
Sarah Thompson, Director of Fundraising at The Hospice of St Francis, added ; “ We have built a new hospice to give our care to more people and we urgently need help to raise funds to keep our services running. Every penny counts and we are grateful to Verity and Three Valleys Water for helping us.”
