Your step by step
guide to using your new card
Step One: If you have not received it already, you
will soon receive a revised statement for your water and sewerage
services account. This statement contains your payment schedule
advising you of how much you need to pay and when you need
to pay this by.
Step Two: When you are ready to make a payment, take
your card to any PayPoint outlet. The PayPoint outlets nearest
to your bill address are listed below. See the reverse of
this letter for more information about paying at PayPoint.
Step Three: Hand your water payment card to the cashier
along with the cash you wish to pay. The cashier will then
credit your account with the cash payment and will return
your payment card to you along with a receipt for the money
you have paid. Please keep your receipt as proof of payment.

You must ensure you make payments in time to meet the payment
schedule we have set for you. If you fail to do so, you must
contact us immediately so that we can make an arrangement
with you for payment.
Back

If you are already paying by an instalment plan, this will
continue as normal. Your payment schedule will remain the
same regardless of whether you currently pay by weekly or
monthly instalments.
Back

Can I spread my
payments?
Your payment schedule shows you the minimum amount you must
pay at each instalment but in some cases, you may be able
to spread this out. For example, if you payment schedule tells
you that you should pay £20 a month, you can choose
to pay this in one go (one transaction), you can pay more
e.g. £30, or if you prefer you can pay this in several
transactions over the course of the month.
So long as you a) pay a minimum
of £3.50 per transaction and b) ensure that you pay
the full scheduled amount due, you are free to spread the
payment as you like.
