Direct Debit logo Direct Debit
Paying your annual water bill by direct debit is easy and efficient. It enables you to enjoy the flexibility of choosing from a range of different payment schemes. There are no set-up charges and payment can be taken on the 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd of the month.
Non-metered customer options
  • 10 payments over 10 months from April to January.
  • 2 payments, in April and October.
  • 1 payment in April.
Metered customer options
  • 12 payments over 12 months with a monthly budget scheme
  • 2 six-monthly payments.

Complete the form and remember to sign it before posting it back to us. Once we receive your form, we will send you confirmation of the payment plan you have chosen along with a payment schedule showing when payments will be taken from your bank account.

Home or Telephone Banking logo Home or Telephone Banking
If you have access to your bank or building society account using a PC, you can choose to pay your bill using home or telephone banking. Please quote sort code 20-74-09, account number 80542903 and your customer reference number which you will find at the top right hand corner of your bill.
Alliance & Leicester logo Debit Card Payment Online Using BillPay
BillPay is a payment method offered in partnership with Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank that allows you to make a secure payment over the Internet using your debit card. The service is free to use, can be accessed from any PC and is available 24 hours a day throughout the year.
To use the service, you must be a customer of a UK bank or building society, hold a debit card and have an active email address. New users will be asked to complete a simple registration form online. To use this service, click here to be directed to the Alliance & Leicester BillPay website.
PayPoint logo Water Payment Card (PayPoint)
You can pay by instalments, using the Three Valleys Water payment card. Using the payment card at any PayPoint outlet is free of charge. Click here for further information on payment cards.
MasterCard logo Credit/Debit Card Payments over the phone
If you would prefer to pay your water bill using a credit or debit card over the phone, please contact us on either 0845 769 7985 or 0845 769 7982 and press option 1.
Barclays Bank logo Bank
You can pay either annually, by two six-monthly payments or monthly.
Payment may be made at any bank. No charge is made if you pay by cash or cheque at a branch of your own bank or any branch of Barclays Bank. Please use the payment stub attached to your bill.

Standing Order Standing Order
You can arrange to pay your water bill by standing order. If you would like to pay your bill by Standing Order please fill out the Standing Order Request form (358KB PDF). Please note that if you choose to pay by Standing Order you may have to update it on a yearly basis.

Post Office logo Post Office
You can pay either annually, by two six-monthly payments or monthly.
Complete the payment slip and take the bill, with your payment in cash to any Post Office. There will be a charge of at least £2.45.

Cheque Cheque
You can pay either annually, by two six-monthly payments or monthly.
Cheques may be sent, with the Giro (payment) stub to Three Valleys plc, P.O. Box 48, Bishops Rise, Hatfield, Herts, AL10 9HL.
Cheques should be made payable to 'Three Valleys Water plc.' crossed A/C Payee Only and must not be post dated. Please write your customer reference number, as shown on your bill, on the back of the cheque.
Receipts will be issued on request if you return the complete bill with your payment.

Water Direct logo Water Direct - Payment via Income Support
If you are on Income Support, you can have your charges deducted from your benefits payments and sent to us direct. Please contact your local DSS office where you collect your benefits for further information.
