Q6. How can I check that the volume of water used, shown on my bill, is correct?

You can take a reading from your water meter - click here for a diagram and explanation on how to read your water meter.

The important thing to check is that the numbers on your bill are a little lower than the numbers on the meter. The dates of water use you are being charged for will be identified on your bill.
