Q2. How are my water bills calculated?

Your water bill is for two separate services:

1. Your water supply.
2. Your wastewater removal.
If you have a water meter, your water services bill will have the following elements:
Water supply:
1. A fixed 'standing charge' for your water supply
2 A charge for the amount of water you use
Wastewater removal services:
3. A standing charge for your wastewater removal by Thames Water or Anglian Water. Three Valleys Water collect the charge on behalf of both companies.
The wastewater removal service for customers living in the North Surrey area is handled by Thames Water.
Customers living in other areas, who would like to know which company handles their waste water should click here to view the map - this link will open in a new browser window.
4. A charge from Anglian Water or Thames Water for your wastewater removal which is calculated on the amount of water you use.
