How the Water Fittings Regulations affect you

1. When you are required to inform us:
  Under the Water Fittings Regulations you are required to tell us if you want to install or erect:
 
A new building or structure
A bath with a capacity of more than 230 litres as measured to the centreline of the overflow
A bidet with ascending spray or flexible hose
A pump drawing more than 12 litres per minute
A water softener or reverse osmosis water filter unit
A garden watering system unless designed to be operated by hand
Any pipe laid outside and underground at a depth less than 750mm or great than 1350mm
The construction of a pond or pool of more than 10,000 litres capacity

The Network Regulations department will contact you within ten working days if we do not give our consent for the proposed works. If you do not receive any correspondence within this period it can be deemed that we have given our consent.
