| Peace of mind
for customers We advise our customers to use 'Approved Contractors' for their plumbing work, for added peace of mind. Approved Plumbers are allowed to carry out certain work without giving notice and where necessary they will give notice on behalf of customers. Customers are assured that Approved Contractors are bound to work in compliance with the Regulations and on completion they will provide customers and the Water Company with a certificate confirming that the work done complies with the Regulations. |

| Building a
network of Approved Plumbers: The current network of Approved Plumbers is small but growing, since the scheme was launched in April 2000. We advise you to seek several quotes for work and to either use an Approved Contractor or a plumber who is a member of a National Trade Association eg Institute Of Plumbing (IOP) or Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC).
