Damage or inconvenience

1. Discolouration damage to washed items
We will make a reimbursement for any items that are discoloured during washing, where discolouration of the water supply is evidently the cause.

2. Damage from flooding
If one of our water pipes bursts and causes loss or damage to your property, we will:
Pay for replacement carpets and furniture and make good damage if you do not have adequate insurance cover.
Make payments to cover uninsured losses including hotel bills (if necessary) or allowance to stay with friends and relatives.
Compensate you for stress and inconvenience taking account of the severity and duration of the incident.
3. Flushing your water pipes
If we ask you to run water through your pipes to flush them and you have a water meter, we will credit your account with the agreed value of the water, subject to a minimum of £1 per hour.
