Bogus Callers

Three Valleys Water wants you to be safe in your home. In order to assist you we have written this guide.

Please remember: NEVER let a stranger into your home on the basis of their words alone.

Bogus Callers - who are they?

Bogus callers are thieves who pretend to be part of a company or organisation that they are not a part, in order to enter your property without a struggle.

Three Valleys Water, fighting bogus callers

Three Valleys Water is supporting the Doorstoppers campaign against bogus callers, which involves many different organisations.

Everyone in this campaign has agreed to a code of practice to help you identify genuine callers and to reduce the number of unannounced callers.
