Three Valleys Water Sites

Three Valleys Water manages its landholdings primarily for operational purposes, but recognises their importance to wildlife and, in some cases, their educational and recreational value. Our aim is to enhance the biodiversity of these sites, promote conservation and, where appropriate, encourage leisure activities in partnership with environmental and community groups.

Our landholdings are spread throughout our operational area and cover more than 600 square hectares. Just over two square kilometres of this land have a statutory designation as local wildlife sites, ancient woodland, Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) or Special Protection Areas (SPA).
