Protecting and enhancing the Environment

As part of our commitment to the community Three Valleys Water supports and works in partnership with a variety of local and national environmental organisations.
These include: The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, London Wildlife Trust, Groundwork (Hertfordshire and Thames Valley) and the Woodland Trust.
Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust manages 48 nature reserves including several Three Valleys Water sites - Hilfield Park Reservoir near Bushey and Stockers Lake and Springwell Reedbed, both near Rickmansworth.
Supported by more than 8,000 members and partners, the Trust works to achieve a better place for wildlife and people, now and in the future.
A voluntary organisation ‘The Friends of Stockers Lake’ also works closely with the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust to manage Stockers Lake and enhance the wildlife at the site. The company is grateful for the hard work and dedication from both of these organisations.
In 2006 the company supported the Woodland Trust’s Tree for all Campaign with many schools within our supply area receiving free tree and hedge packs to improve their school grounds.
