Our Culture

In the workplace
A new chapter has started for Three Valleys Water as we launch our new company vision to be one team leading in water. One team all working together, overcoming barriers between different groups and levels to enable the business to achieve more, faster and really lead in the water industry. We aim to provide our people with the opportunities, resources and environment they need so that they are able to make effective contributions to the business. Three Valleys Water is committed to being an employer of choice by developing a working environment that attracts, retains and rewards talented people. The Company has a personal development system in place, providing a structured approach to employee learning and career development.

In the community
By working with and supporting communities, charities and government, we're committed to improving quality of life for all. A good example of this is the Three Valleys Water Environment & Education Centre, which works together with local schools showing how environmental, particularly water-based activities can be integrated into lessons. We're not only educating the adults of tomorrow - we're safeguarding the future of our water resources.

In the environment
Seeking out opportunities to reduce our consumption of natural resources by using alternatives where possible, we're optimising efficiency of use whilst protecting and enhancing the environment. With our in-house planning, engineering, scientific and laboratory expertise, we maintain an ongoing dialogue with the Environment Agency, providing information on issues such as water quality and volume of water extracted. In turn, this helps the Environment Agency to develop improved water resource models.
