Billing and payment: Online Helpdesk Q2. How are water service bills calculated? Your water bill is for two separate services:1. Your water supply. 2. Your wastewater removal. If you have a water meter, your water services bill will have the following elements: |
| Water supply:
1. A fixed 'standing charge' for your water supply 2. A charge for the amount of water you use (metered customers) OR a variable charge calculated using the rateable value of your premises (unmetered customers). |
| Wastewater removal services:
3. A 'standing charge' for your wastewater removal by Thames Water or Anglian Water. 4. A charge from Thames Water or Anglian Water for your wastewater removal which is calculated using either the rateable value of your premises or the amount of water you use. |
| We collect charges on behalf
of Thames Water and Anglian Water.
