Reading your water meter

The illustration below shows you how to read your water meter

The white numbers on the black dials on your meter show the amount of water you have used and it is these that are used for your bill.
(1 cubic metre = 1,000 litres = 220 gallons)

The white numbers on the red dials on the right hand side denote fractions of a cubic metre and can be used to check consumption or leakage. Only the white on black numbers are used for reading and calculating your bill.
