Damage or inconvenience

1. Pipe burst causing flooding
  If one of our pipes bursts (click here to see who owns which pipes - this link will open in a new browser window) and causes loss or damage to your property, please contact us promptly. You will be compensated either by us or by your own insurance company if you have insurance cover.
2. Street works
 

If you have difficulty entering your home, or concerns about our work, we may pay you compensation for any inconvenience caused.

3. Working on your land
  A code of practice setting out your rights and our responsibilities when working on your land will be sent to you on request. Should we fail to comply with the code of practice we may pay you compensation for any inconvenience caused.
