Three Valleys Water Hydrant Licence Procedure

Unauthorised use of a hydrant is an offence and legal proceedings will be taken! If you would like access to a hydrant on the pressurised water network you must apply for a hydrant licence. Unauthorised access could result in water contamination, reduction in pressure and mains failure.

Please follow the 4 simple steps to apply for a licence:

If applying for the first time please contact the Hydrant Enforcement Team, on 01707 268111, so that we can take you through the procedure.

Complete and return the forms to:

Hydrant Step 3
You will receive confirmation of charges and an inspection date

Your licence will be issued subject to:

 Satisfactory inspection
Payment
Usage training (if required)
